Police officer adopts homeless pit bull puppy after finding him wandering the streets alone

Last year, Mount Laurel Officer Matthew O’Hanlon found a pit bull puppy on the street without a collar and with a wound on his head.

He picked him up and took him to the nearest clinic for treatment.

On this, such stories in most cases should end, but not this time.

The officer had been intending to have a pet for some time, so he couldn’t stop thinking about this puppy.

20 minutes after he left the puppy at the shelter, he called them and said that he intended to take the pup.

Shelter workers treated the wound and scanned the puppy for a microchip.

Then they waited for a while for the owner to show up, but this never happened.

So the officer returned to the shelter and adopted a three-month-old puppy.

The officer admitted that he and his fiancée dreamed of having a pit bull, so he could not pass by.

He named the dog Thor.

The officer does not know what life Thor had before meeting him, but he is 100% sure of the future of the puppy.

He will be spoiled with treats and happy for the rest of his life.
